'Jujutsu Kaisen 0' headed to SM Cinema this June

"Jujutsu Kaisen 0" is finally coming to the Philippines!

SM Cinema has announced that the hit anime film will be showing in its theaters starting June 22.

The film premiered in Japan in December 2021 and in the United States last March.

"Jujutsu Kaisen 0" is the first movie in the "Jujutsu Kaisen" franchise.

It is based on the prequel, called Volume 0, of the manga by Gege Akutami, and revolves around Yuuta, who is recruited to enroll at Jujutsu High where he learns to control his terrifying power.

In the main series, the story revolves around Itadori Yuuji, who embarks on a journey to kill a powerful curse named Ryomen Sukuna. —JCB, GMA News
