Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is indestructible on ‘Black Adam’

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is anything but destructible on the upcoming DC movie “Black Adam.”

In the two-minute video released Wednesday, Dwayne portrayed the superhero as a powerful being who could withstand anything.

Among his abilities include incredible strength, flying, releasing energy, and impressive speed.

“I was a slave before I died then I was reborn a god. My son sacrificed his life to save me. Now, I kneel before no one,” said his character in the trailer.

In previous Instagram posts, the former professional wrestler gave an idea of who his character was.

“Black Adam is blessed by magic with the powers equal to Superman, but the difference is he doesn’t toe the mark or walk the line,” he said.

“He’s a rebellious, one of a kind superhero, who’ll always do what’s right for the people—but he does it his way. Truth and justice—the Black Adam way.”

The movie also stars Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, Kenzari, Quintessa Swindell, Bodhi Sabongui, and Pierce Brosnan, among other actors.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, “Black Adam” is slated for local release on Oct. 19. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
