Louis Tomlinson’s Philippine concert moves to bigger venue at Araneta Coliseum

Your Filipino fans definitely "Miss You," Louis Tomlinson!

After the singer and former One Direction member announced his Philippine concert on July 16 at New Frontier Theater in Quezon City, fans were devastated after tickets quickly sold out on June 5.

But, today is a great day for "Louies" as concert organizers announced that the Louis Tomlinson World Tour in Manila would be held at Araneta Coliseum.

And you know what that means? More Filipino fans may now get the chance to see Louis!

"YES! We heard you," said the organizer's announcement on Facebook.

Due to popular demand, additional tickets will be on sale starting on Monday, June 13, at 10 a.m. through www.ticketnet.com.ph and its outlets.

For those who already got a ticket for New Frontier Theater, "tickets will be assigned with the equivalent seats at the Smart Araneta Coliseum."

Meanwhile, for those who purchased tickets online, Live Nation Philippines said the "ticket will be voided, and a new electronic ticket for the Smart Araneta Coliseum show will be emailed to you."

After two years of lockdown, Filipinos are definitely hungry to hear their favorite acts live again.

Case in point: After Westlife's "The Wildest Dreams Tour 2023" tickets in Manila quickly sold out, concert promoters Wilbros Live added a second night due to Filipino fans' high demand.

Aside from Louis Tomlinson and Westlife, other international artists such as Justin Bieber, LANY, and The Script are gearing up to perform in Manila this year and in 2023. – RC, GMA News
