Megan Young spends the day at Whitney Museum in NYC

It looks like Megan Young is enjoying her solo trip so far!

The actress and beauty queen shared pics of her day at Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City, featuring some of the place’s iconic sculptures and paintings.

Megan shared that back when she traveled a lot during her reign as Miss World in 2013, her days were mostly filled with work tasks for her chosen advocacy, including meetings, galas, and fundraisings.

“Minsan lang ako nakakaikot ng city. Pero sa minsan na pwede akong lumabas at mag explore, lagi kong gustong pumunta ng museum. Naeenjoy ko noon ang mga nakikita ko, kahit di ko naiintindihan at hindi ko kilala ang mga artists,” she wrote on Instagram.

“For this trip, sa Whitney Museum naman ako nag punta. Na enjoy ko ang solo time ko dito—kahit namimiss ko si Fofo,” referring to her husband, actor Mikael Daez.

The other day, Megan posted that she had brunch with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and fashion designer Bessie Besana in the city.

“So nice catching up with Pia and Bessie whom I always see abroad more kesa sa Manila,” she laughed. – RC, GMA News
