Check out this Filipina Czennie's preps for NCT 127's Manila concert

NCTZens in the Philippines are hyped for NCT 127's "Neo City: The Link - Manila" concert this Sunday!

One of them is Kaye Villareal, who has gone viral thanks to her merch collection—in particular, the rare Jaehyun SYBC (Special Yearbook Card) that's easily worth six figures.

In an episode of INKIPOP, Kaye shares that she was introduced to K-pop via EXO. Shortly after becoming an EXO-L, she found SuperM, the Avengers-ish supergroup comprised of EXO's Kai and Baekhyun, SHINee's Taemin, WayV's Ten and Lucas, and NCT 127's Taeyong and Mark. Kaye checked out NCT 127 and got hooked—especially when she "met" her ultimate bias.

"The one and only Jaehyun! He's giving you this not-your-typical-idol vibe," gushed Kaye. "His visuals are unreal, his passion for singing. I really love his voice, and his dancing of course. He's also proven his acting skills in his drama 'Dear M.' He's one of a kind."

Kaye's love for NCT 127 has led to an extensive merch collection: the Neobong lightstick, albums, photo cards, and other items. Part of the fun, she says, is the thrill of the hunt itself, bidding and bartering with fellow NCTZens to get her desired item for the right price at the right time.

"For me, it's the self-satisfaction and showing support for our idols," she added. "Of course we want our boys to sell millions of albums and win awards and when they do, it's nice to feel like you're a part of that achievement."

While she has enough NCT 127 merch to fill her room—and a dedicated Jaehyun Corner—Kaye says her most prized possession is the rare SYBC that's encased in a special acrylic housing she custom-built. There are few ways one can get their hands on rare cards like this: one is by sheer luck of "pulling" them inside an album they buy, and another is through bidding. So when Kaye posted her Jaehyun photocard, NCTZens went wild.

"I was surprised, I didn't expect that it would go viral and reach international fans," she said. "There were some who were commenting that I can now buy a house and lot! I think because bidding for that particular photo card reached P100,000 at the time."

Kaye added that NCT photo cards can range from P600 to P7,000 but special or silver cards can go for as high as P50,000-70,000.

"Especially now that NCT 127 has a comeback, fans would be hot for these!"

Kaye has been preparing for this comeback: the Manila leg of NCT 127's "Neo City: The Link" world tour is happening on September 4 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, and her concert gear is ready.

In the video she shot for INKIPOP, Kaye showed a canvas bag decorated with Jaehyun pins, and what's inside.

"Neobong lightstick, photo cards inside customized toploaders, Jaehyun banner, Jaehyun doll, powerbank. These are my must-haves," she said.

Her enviable collection notwithstanding, Kaye believes fans shouldn't feel the need to splurge to show their love for their idols.

"Of course, we have to budget our expenses and save up for emergencies," she said. "For me, how much you spend on merch, albums, or photo cards isn't the basis of whether you're a fan or not, as long as you support them and you're having fun!"
