'Gudetama: An Eggcellent Adventure' releases official trailer

Netflix just dropped the official trailer for "Gudetama: An Eggcellent Adventure."

Gudetama is a Japanese cartoon character known as the perennially tired egg who despises any activity that involves movement.

The series follows the story of Gudetama and an energetic chick Shakipiyo who take the "leap from the fridge to search for their mother."

In the trailer, Gudetama and Shakipiyo go out into the world and experience all sorts of things, thereby catching the attention of humans.

According to Netflix, "Gudetama: An Eggcellent Adventure" is a "hybrid of live-action and CG animation."

"Gudetama: An Eggcellent Adventure" will be available to stream on Netflix starting on December 13.
