Charlotte meets George in new teaser of 'Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story'

The first teaser of "Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story" is here!

Netflix dropped the exclusive first look to the upcoming limited series, which tells the origin story of Queen Charlotte from "Bridgerton."

In the two-minute video, a young Charlotte is shown to be attempting to a climb over a garden wall. King George finds her and thus begins the first encounter between the royal couple.

Unaware of who he is, Charlotte says she is escaping because the king is a "beast and a troll." She then feistily asks for his help to climb the wall, saying that she's a lady in distress.

"I have absolutely no intention of helping you," George responds. "I refuse when that lady in distress is trying to go over a wall so she does not have to marry me."

Charlotte is played by India Amarteifio, while George is played by Corey Mylchreest.

No release date has been announced yet, but "Bridgerton" fans are already feeling the kilig and excitement for the series.

Meanwhile, the main "Bridgerton" series will return for a third season, which focuses on the romance between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington.
