Bike ramps installed in footbridges in Quezon City

Good news, cyclists! Quezon City has become even more bike-friendly.

On Saturday, the Quezon City government announced that they have installed bike ramps at the Quezon Memorial Circle and 40 other footbridges around the city.

The local government said this is one of its ways to ensure bikers’ safety and encourage others to cycle.

“Hinihikayat ng pamahalaang lungsod ang mga QCitizens na magbisikleta at gumamit ng alternative transportation dahil bukod sa eco-friendly at abot-kaya, ito ay nakapagpapabuti sa kalusugan bilang ehersisyo,” the caption read.

(The city government is encouraging QCitizens to go biking and use alternative transportation because aside from being eco-friendly and affordable, it provides health benefits as it is a form of exercise as well.)
