'On The Job: The Missing 8' to have a limited cinema run this November

“On The Job: The Missing 8” is headed to theaters near you.

The film is set to have a limited run in cinemas from November 2 to 8, ANIMA Studios announced.

Directed by the acclaimed Erik Matti, “On The Job: The Missing 8” is a crime thriller that follows Sisoy Salas, a journalist played by John Arcilla. He investigates the disappearance of his colleagues.

Dennis Trillo meanwhile plays a prisoner who is temporarily freed to carry out assassinations.

The history-making film saw Arcilla becoming the first Filipino to win the Best Actor award at Venice Film Festival. The film is also nominated for an International Emmy and is the Philippines’ entry to the Oscars . —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA News
