'Blue Exorcist' is getting a new anime series

"Blue Exorcist" is getting a new anime! 

According to a report on Anime News Network, the news was revealed at the Jump Festa '23 event on Sunday.

A short video teaser was also released to announce the project.

The manga creator, Kazue Kato, shared a drawing on Twitter to celebrate the news.

The "Blue Exorcist" manga was first released in 2009. It has been been adapted into an anime series in 2011, followed by 12-episode sequel in 2017.

The story follows teenager Rin Okumura, who discovers that he and his twin brother Yukio are sons of Satan upon the death of their guardian. He then trains to become exorcist in order to defeat their father.
