A 'Zoey 101' sequel film is in the works starring Jamie Lynn Spears

A “Zoey 101” sequel film is happening, with the original cast members heading back to Pacific Coast Academy.

People exclusively confirmed that Jamie Lynn Spears will be reprising her role as Zoey Brooks in “Zoey 102.” She will also be an executive producer on the film which is currently in production under Paramount+ and Nickelodeon.

Actors Erin Sanders (Quinn Pensky), Sean Flynn (Chase Matthews), Matthew Underwood (Logan Reese), Christopher Massey (Michael Barret), Abby Wilde (Stacey Dillsen), and Jack Salvatore (Mark Del Figgalo) will also be starring in the film.

According to the report, the film will follow the PCA alumni who reunite for a wedding.

“Zoey 101,” the top Nickelodeon series, followed Zoey and her friends’ years at the PCA boarding school. The group navigates teen experiences both good and bad, and grows closer together as the series progresses. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
