Money Heist spin-off 'Berlin' drops teaser, announces December release

Berlin is back for a new heist!

Netflix just unveiled a teaser for the Money Heist spin-off series "Berlin," showing the well-loved character plotting another theft — seemingly of a red jewel.

Set in Paris, the prequel show is due for a December release.

Aside from Pedro Alonso, it also features Michelle Jenner, Tristán Ulloa, Begoña Vargas, Julio Peña Fernández and Joel Sánchez.

In a press conference last year, creators Alex Pina and Esther Martinez Lobato said "Berlin" will be lighter than "Money Heist."

“We changed the tone towards a narrative that’s closer to comedy and in the spirit, is closer to rom-com. We tried to be as beautiful as possible with everything,” Lobato said.

"Money Heist" concluded after five seasons in December. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
