Get to know more about global girl group XG

A new girl group, XG or Xtraordinary Girls, has been making waves globally!

In an interview with GMA Integrated News, members Maya, Jurin, Chisa, Harvey, Juria, Cocona, and Hinata shared some of their interests and hobbies.

According to them, their music is called X-Pop and it is heavily based on R&B and hip-hop. They also sing in pure English, making way for a deeper connection with their fans, the Alphaz.

"We want to deliver the music that we love to the Alphaz and everyone around the world, just the way it is without being bound by anything," they said.

XG said part of their goals is to go on a world tour, and they will work together with their fans for this.

"Alpha means the leader of a wolf pack. We named our fans Alphaz because they will be leaders and will work with us to achieve all our dreams together."

XG debuted in 2022. Composed of all Japanese girls, among their songs include "Shooting Star," "Left Right," "Mascara," and "Tippy Toes."
