The Metro Manila Pride March and Festival is happening on June 24, Saturday.

“Tara na, muling magsama-sama, makinig sa isa’t isa, at simulan ang diskusyon para sa ating taunang Metro Manila Pride March and Festival!” the organization said in their Instagram caption.

Details about the march route, venue map, full program, safety reminders, and other event details are yet to be announced.

The Metro Manila Pride March and Festival is the largest Pride demonstration in Southeast Asia, with thousands of the community and allies attending.

The annual march serves to empower the Filipino LGBTQIA+ community by creating spaces where their identities are celebrated, stories are respected, and their rights are recognized. It also serves as a protest against the abuse and injustices the community faces.

June 24's march follows the in-person event at the CCP Open Grounds last year when the march and festival returned to the streets.
