Makoto Shinkai's 'Suzume' releases wistful music video for Radwimps theme song

Radwimps never misses.

Their theme song for "Suzume," featuring Toaka, takes listeners on a wistful journey to enchanting places.

To make it even better, Warner Bros. Pictures just released a music video for the song filled with clips from the new anime film by Makoto Shinkai.

Japanese rock band Radwimps is also behind the soundtrack of Shinkai's previous films "Your Name" and "Weathering With You."

“Suzume” is a coming-of-age story that revolves around 17-year-old Suzume, whose journey begins in a quiet town in Kyushu when she encounters a young man who tells her, “I’m looking for a door.” After finding and opening one, doors begin to open one after another all across Japan, unleashing destruction upon any who are near. Suzume must close these portals to prevent further disaster.

The film opened in Philippine cinemas earlier this week. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
