'Blue Lock' anime to get a 2nd season, film
The "Blue Lock" anime series will have a second season and a film!
According to a report on Anime News Network, the news was announced on Sunday in the final episode of the first season.
The second season will have new characters: Ryusei Shido, Tabito Karasu, Eita Otoya, and Kenyu Yukimiya.
Meanwhile, the film will be based on the spinoff manga "Blue Lock: Episode Nagi," which follows Seishiro Nagi before he enters Blue Lock.
"Blue Lock" is a soccer manga created by written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. First released in 2018, it was adapted into an anime series that is currently streaming on Netflix.
The story follows the fictional Blue Lock Project, which aims to search for an ace striker capable of leading Japan towards a World Cup championship.
