Adele drives James Corden in last ever Carpool Karaoke

The Carpool Karaoke has reached the finish line, but it ended with a bang.

In its final episode, James Corden was the one in the passenger seat, and his driver was none other than Adele.

"This is it, the last carpool," James said. "I'm excited and scared in equal measure. I don't know, it's been a crazy eight years."

Corden is exiting "The Late Late Show" after eight years to explore other opportunities. He was relatively unknown in the United States when he began hosting, but generated buzz with his viral "Carpool Karaoke" segments in which he sang along with stars — including Adele.

The pair discussed their friendship during the ride, and of course, sang to Adele's hits, from "Rolling in the Deep" to "I Drink Wine." They even turned emotional and shed tears.

"I've never lived in L.A. without you guys so I'm a bit nervous about it, to be honest with you, and obviously very, very sad," Adele said.

Aside from Adele, Corden's final guests on the show included BLACKPINK, Tom Cruise, and Ben Affleck, among others. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
