This Pampanga-born furniture studio has home pieces inspired by Heart Evangelista, Hidilyn Diaz, and more
A Heart Evangelista-inspired chair? That's among the many cool things that Genteel Home, a premier furniture design studio in Angeles, Pampanga, has in store.
It just opened its newest branch at the Podium Mall in Mandaluyong earlier this month, where it unveiled its newest home pieces inspired by famous celebrities, including Kapuso star Heart Evangelista, Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz, and "It's Showtime" host Vice Ganda, among others.
The chair inspired by Heart is elegantly simple. It's made of thin strands of rattan woven into sunburst patterns and finished off in a dome silhouette with a white hue.
"This is something that I would definitely love to have. Life is too short, and you just really want to live your life as fullest as possible," Heart said in a press release.
"At the end of the day, you want a peaceful home that feels full of love, and your furniture does reflect that. So choose something that would calm your soul," she added.
Meanwhile, the Unkabogable, Rampa Superstar, clearly inspired by "It's Showtime" host Vice Ganda, features a bold and colorful pattern and three wooden stars for each of its legs.
"Her presence will surely illuminate the room just like flashing stars and the representation that she carries as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community is incomparable," Genteel Home said on Instagram.
Finally, the Hidilyn-inspired piece has Olympic rings-like detail for its back rest.
"Let her chair remind us that weights shouldn't bring us down, instead serve as fuel for us to reach our goals and achieve our aspirations!" Genteel said on IG.
Starting in 2013 as a simple project Genteel Home blossomed into a lifestyle brand "that aims to respond to every space’s needs by thoughtfully curating tailored decor and furniture pieces. The best part is that everything is crafted with kindness," it says on its website.
Genteel Home is located at 2F Podium Mall, Mandaluyong City.
