Chanty of Lapillus makes waves at KCON in Los Angeles
Lapillus recently made waves as they performed in KCON LA!
At the K-culture festival, Lapillus was among the performers on the final day of the event, which was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center last weekend.
They even had a special collab stage with their fellow girl group, EVERGLOW, and gave electrifying performances of their songs such as “Hit Ya!” and “Who’s Next.”
And according to a post by Sparkle GMA Artist Center, this actually makes Chanty the first half-Filipina idol to ever perform at the event!
Other artists in the lineup include (G)-IDLE, ITZY, JO1, Stray Kids, and THE BOYZ.
Chanty, Shana, Yue, Bessie, Seowon, and Haeun debuted as Lapillus in 2022 under MLD Entertainment with the song “Hit Ya!”
Last year, they performed on “Eat Bulaga!” “All Out Sundays,” and had a series of fan meetings and other promotional activities.
Chanty, or Chantal Videla, is a Filipino-Argentinian K-Pop star who signed with Sparkle GMA Artist Center last year. She and Yue recently danced with Sandara Park in a TikTok video.
