Olivia Rodrigo drops sophomore album 'GUTS'
It's time to head back to your angsty teenage years with Olivia Rodrigo’s new album as the soundtrack.
Titled “GUTS,” it has 12 tracks with songs like “all-american bitch,” “ballad of a homeschooled girl,” and “love is embarrassing.” It also has the previously released tracks “vampire” and “bad idea right?”
A day before the release, the Filipina-American artist posted a video of her singing as a young girl.
“GUTS comes out [tomorrow] night featuring this girl!!!!” Olivia said in her caption.
On Twitter on Friday morning, “Olivia Rodrigo” was among the worldwide trending topics with fans already saying how much they can relate to “GUTS.”
Olivia’s debut album “SOUR” became a top hit with songs like “drivers license” and “good 4 u.” She went on her first tour in support of the album last year and also performed with Billy Joel in Madison Square Garden.
At the 2022 Grammys, Olivia was nominated for seven awards, and won Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album for “SOUR,” and Best Pop Solo Performance for “drivers license.” She was also named the 2022 Billboard Woman of the Year.
