Ben&Ben announces new motivational song 'Courage'
A new Ben&Ben song is coming out on Monday, and it looks like it will have an uplifting message for listeners!
In a lengthy Instagram post, the nine-piece band dedicated the upcoming piece titled “Courage” to struggling fans.
“Walang pinipiling panahon ang pangangamba/anxiety,” Ben&Ben wrote. “Malayo man ang narating mo sa buhay, o pasimula ka pa lang, may mga araw talagang lalamunin ka ng takot.”
They said that aside from their personal experiences, they felt that many people have felt the same way in recent days.
“Minsan, parang wala nang solusyon sa sunud-sunod na pagsubok, tas gusto mong umayaw na lang,” they added.
Ben&Ben also dedicated the song to those going after their dreams, to students who are about to take examinations, to breadwinners, and to parents.
“Para sa mga digmaang nangyayari sa loob natin pag nilalamon tayo ng anxiety. Para sa mga panahong akala nating wala nang pag-asa. Para sa’tin to,” they wrote.
“Sumulat kami ng kanta na sana sa kahit maliit na paraan, makatulong sa pagbibigay-lakas para magpatuloy tayo kahit mahirap at puno ng pagsubok ang daan. At balang araw, magiging worth it lahat ng struggles natin, at matutupad din natin yung mga pangarap natin,” they added. “Sa nagbabasa nito, naniniwala kami sa’yo. Makakayanan natin ‘to!”
They ended the announcement by quoting a line that says: "All your struggles will be worth it in the end. Keep carrying on with Courage.”
In June, the band released their new single titled “Could Be Something,” which is about turning doubt into hope after being cynical.
Ben&Ben's last full-length release was "Pebble House, Vol. 1: Kuwaderno" in 2021. Last year, they released several singles, including "Dear," "The Ones We Once Loved,” and “Langyang Pag-Ibig.”
In April, Ben&Ben's "The Way You Look at Me" cover featured a music video starring "Maria Clara at Ibarra" stars Barbie Forteza and David Licauco.
