'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' drops cool motion poster

"Percy Jackson and the Olympians" just released the coolest poster yet!

In the newly released motion poster, Walker Scobell, who plays Percy Jackson, wields a lightning bolt. On either side of him were Leah Jeffries (Annabeth Chase) and Aryan Simhadri (Grover Underwood).

Disney released the trailer for the highly anticipated series last month. It featured Zeus, who told Percy: "The Master Bolt has been stolen. That is your quest."

The series will premiere on Disney+ on December 20.

"Percy Jackson & the Olympians" is a series of books by Rick Riordan, who worked closely with Disney+ to bring his beloved characters to life. The story tells the story of Percy, a once normal boy who discovers he is the son of Poseidon when he comes of age.

The first book is "The Lightning Thief," which follows Percy's quest to find Zeus's lightning bolt.
