In Tuesday’s episode of “Unang Hirit,” the UH Barkada presented three creative tools to encourage you to save money in 2024 and finish them by your target date.

The Kalendaryo ipon challenge is simple. It’s your typical yearly calendar but includes pockets on each day where you will put your cash.

Try your best not to skip a day, no matter how much you put in!

3-in-1 Alkansya

The 3-in-1 alkansya is a typical piggy bank but with a twist. It includes three compartments for spend, save, and give.

Since the design of the piggy bank is aesthetically pleasing, you can also hang it on your wall as a decoration in your room (and as a reminder to fill it up whenever you can).

Save & Shade ipon challenge

The Save & Shade ipon challenge is like a piggy bank but with a goal of completing the denomination of your choice in 400 pieces. It can be in 20s, 100s, 500s, and 1000s.

For example, if you complete 400 pieces of P1000s, you get to have P1.6 million. Can you imagine?
