A bunch of Pinoy bands are coming together to play a fundraising gig tomorrow, January 12, for the benefit of Robert Javier, bassist extraordinaire most famously known for his work with '90s rock band The Youth.

Moonstar88, 6Cyclemind, Band ni Kleggy, and Magnus Haven are headlining the concert to be held at Balcony Music House in Makati that aims to raise funds to help Robert with his medical bills as he is battling cerebro muscular and kidney injuries following multiple strokes.

According to his Go Get Funding page, recovering from his multiple strokes now demands extensive — and expensive — medical treatment. His two-day stay at the hospital ward has racked up P150,000 and he is far from stable.

The gig on Friday, organized by Soupstar Entertainment, Inc and Black Sheep records, will also feature Music-Hero, Ethan Loukas, Section Juan, Morning After, and Divided by Zero.

Tickets are priced at P1,000.

After making a mark in the music industry with The Youth's hit "Multo sa Paningin," Robert went on to contribute in the success of other OPM bands including Parokya ni Edgar, Kamikazee, Moonstar88, Orange and Lemons, Teeth, and many more.

Perhaps it's time to give Robert back the love and support he's given us through music? Swing by the concert, donate in his Go Get Funding page, and spread the word.
