Michael de Mesa on late siblings Cherie and Mark Gil: 'It still breaks my heart'

Michael de Mesa admitted that he still misses his late siblings, Cherie Gil and Mark Gil.

On Tuesday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the actor recalled how much they bonded together.

"We all came from a broken home because our parents separated when we were kids, so it was just the three of us talagang who bonded like we did," he said.

"And not having them with us, it still breaks my heart, you know? Sobrang nakakamiss lalo na when I see pictures of the three of us together. Naaantig pa rin 'yung puso ko," he added.

Mark passed away in 2014 due to liver cancer. He was 52.

In 2022, Cherie passed away due to a rare form of endometrial cancer. She was 59.

Like Michael, Cherie and Mark are known personalities in the showbiz industry.
