'House of the Dragon' drops two trailers, to premiere in the Philippines on June 17
It's time to choose a side — Team Black or Team Green?
HBO just released two trailers for the upcoming season of "House of the Dragon." The Black Trailer shows the faction of Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, while the Green Trailer shows the faction of King Aegon II.
The eight-episode second season of the HBO Original drama series will premiere on June 17 on HBO and HBO GO.
"House of the Dragon" first aired in August 2022 with 10 episodes. It was renewed for a second season in the same year. It began production in 2023.
A prequel to "Game of Thrones," the series stars Emma D'Arcy as Rhaenyra, Matt Smith as Daemon Targaryen, Tom Glynn-Carney as Aegon II, Olivia Cooke as Queen Alicent Hightower, Ewan Mitchell as Aemond, and Eve Best as Rhaenys Targaryen.
Based on George R.R. Martin's book "Fire and Blood," "House of the Dragon" is set 172 years before the events in "Game of Thrones," when the Targaryens are at the height of their power.
