"Scooby-Doo" is getting a live-action adaptation from Netflix.

According to Variety, the hour-long drama project will be based on the original Hanna-Barbera cartoon.

Warner Bros. Television will produce, the report added, with Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg serving as writers.

"Scooby-Doo" remains to be a well-loved series after it was first released in 1969.

It follows the adventures of a mystery-solving group of friends who call themselves Mystery, Inc.
