Aiah of BINI overjoyed to dance 'Salamin, Salamin' with local drag queens: ‘I love this community’

Aiah of BINI couldn’t help but feel “kilig” when she heard “Pantropiko” play during her night out with friends at Nectar Nightclub in Bonifacio Global City.

On Instagram Stories, the P-Pop idol shared a video showing her genuine reaction when the BINI song played in the middle of the show.

"Captured the exact moment where I was literally just in my fan girl moment and then they played our song all of a sudden,” she said in the caption.

Aside from “Pantropiko,” “Salamin, Salamin” also played, and that was when the drag queens invited Aiah to join them on stage to dance to the iconic song.

“The plan was just to watch some drag show and support some drag queens, but they grabbed me to go dance on stage,” Aiah wrote.

“Old Aiah would feel like dying if she’s being called to come up the stage out of nowhere, but because you guys were very supportive, you all helped to heal that part in me,” she added.

The singer also expressed her love for the Philippine drag scene, saying “I love this community. It’s filled with so much love.”

“You guys truly deserve all the love in this world,” she added.

BINI, composed of Aiah, Colet, Gwen, Jhoanna, Maloi, Mikha, Sheena, and Stacey, rose to fame after their song “Pantropiko” trended online.

Among the celebrities who hopped on the “Pantropiko” dance challenge were Anne Curtis and R’Bonney Gabriel.
