A 'Legally Blonde' prequel titled 'Elle' is coming to Prime Video in 2025

Something pink is coming!

A prequel to the film “Legally Blonde” starring Reese Witherspoon is set to air on Prime Video next year.

On TikTok, Reese shared a teaser video where she dressed up in pink to transform into her iconic Elle Woods character.

“Before she became the most famous Gemini vegetarian to graduate from Harvard Law, she was just a regular ‘90s high school girl,” the “Legally Blonde” actress wrote in the caption.

“And all of you are going to get to know her next year on Prime Video,” she added. “I’M SO EXCITED!”

The upcoming series will follow the story of Elle Woods' high school life before she became a Harvard-graduate lawyer in “Legally Blonde.”

In the first "Legally Blonde" movie that came out in 2001, Elle attempts to win back her ex-boyfriend by getting a degree at Harvard Law School, but ends up becoming a successful lawyer in the process.

In the 2003 sequel "Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde," Elle heads to Washington D.C. to fight for animal rights before eventually setting her sights on the White House.
