'Rolling Stone' magazine is coming to the Philippines

Rolling Stone magazine is coming to the Philippines!

Yes you read that right. The legendary music magazine will be having a Philippine edition beginning November 2024.

The announcement was made on social media Friday morning, with the iconic "Beep Beep" riff of Juan de la Cruz band as its background music. 

"Rolling Stone" Philippines will be published by Modern Media Group Inc. (MMGI), which publishes Nylon and Billboard. 

It belongs to the bigger company, AGC Power Holdings Corp. (AGC PHC), which brought in Vogue Philippines and publishes local magazines like Mega Magazine, My Home, Modern Parenting to name a few.

As of writing, no added information has been given with regard to editors of Rolling Stone Philippines. It does already have a website in place, as well as social media channels.

Rolling Stone is an American magazine that started as a music read and soon expanded to cover politics and culture as well.

It's where a lot of famous rock journalists and pop culture personalities came from including film director Cameron Crowe and legendary writer Hunter S. Thumpson.
