'Materialists' starring Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal is coming to PH cinemas in August

"Materialists," top-billed by Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal, and Chris Evans, is coming to Philippine cinemas starting on August 6.

Directed by Celine Song, the A24 film follows the story of Lucy (Dakota), a matchmaker responsible for multiple successful stories ending in marriages. The tables turn when she meets Harry (Pedro), a man who ticks all her boxes for a perfect catch. Things get even more complicated with an unexpected encounter with her ex, John (Chris), who is broke but shares a deep history with Lucy.

Meanwhile, amid breakup reports in June, Chris Martin still showed his support for Dakota by promoting "Materialists" at a Coldplay concert.
