'Sound of Music' returns to cinemas for 60th anniversary

You can experience the "Sound of Music" in theaters for a limited time next month!

SM Cinema on Thursday announced that it is showing a remastered version of the classic film on September 20 and 21 to celebrate its 60th anniversary.

Tickets are now available for purchase, priced at P275 for Metro Manila cinemas, and P230 for provincial.

"Sound of Music" is a 1965 musical film by Robert Wise that follows Maria (Julie Andrews), who becomes a governess for the Von Trapp family.

An adaptation of the stage musical of the same name, tt is famous for timeless hits such as "The Sound of Music," "My Favorite Things," and "Edelweiss."
