'The Housemaid' movie shows glimpse of Millie's arrival at the Winchesters' house

The upcoming movie adaptation of Freida McFadden’s New York Times bestselling psychological thriller book, “The Housemaid,” just gave fans a first peek at Millie Calloway’s entrance into the mysterious Winchester household.

On Instagram, the film released a 12-second teaser where viewers are shown the Winchesters’ grand estate through a point-of-view shot of someone stepping inside their massive gate prominently bearing the family’s “W” insignia.

The short clip also captured the voices of Nina Winchester (Amanda Seyfried) and Millie (Sydney Sweeney) during their first meeting.

The story also includes the characters of Andrew Winchester (Brandon Sklenar) and Enzo (Michele Morrone), the Winchesters’ landscaper.

"The Housemaid" follows the life of Millie, a struggling young woman who takes a job as a housekeeper for the wealthy Winchester couple, but she soon uncovers the family’s secrets, which are far more dangerous than her own.

The movie adaptation is under Lionsgate Motion Picture Group and Hidden Pictures Media.

It is directed by American director Paul Feig.
