'DRPH: Slaysian Royale': Filipino queens share fond memories with Jiggly Caliente

The "DragCon Slaysia" episode of “Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale” centered on the top five queens showcasing their brand by creating booths similar to those displayed by drag queens at international drag conventions.

In Episode 8, the remaining Filipino queens, Brigiding, Viñas DeLuxe, Khianna, and Arizona Brandy, looked back on their fondest memories with the late Jiggly Caliente, who often guided and supported them at international events like DragCon in the United States.

Jiggly passed away on April 27 at the age of 44.

Brigiding recalled how Jiggly looked out for her when she attended DragCon LA.

“When I was in New York, she even booked me a hotel so I’d have a place to stay in,” she said.

Viñas recalled how Jiggly stood out as a judge during “Drag Race Philippines” Season 1.

“I love how Jiggly judged us during our season. It’s very intelligent. She knows what she says,” she said.

Viñas also remembered how generous Jiggly was to Filipino drag queens.

“Every time she came to visit us, or whenever she was in the Philippines, she always gave us her things,” she said.

Meanwhile, Khianna shared how Jiggly constantly checked up on her.

“She’d always react to my posts, telling me I’m so great, and things like that. For sure I’m gonna miss her and her random check-ins,” she said.

For Arizona, Jiggly became her biggest source of support when she first experienced DragCon LA in 2024.

“It was my first time in the US, during DragCon LA 2024, and Jiggly was there with me the whole time,” she said. “She even helped me set up my booth.”

In the episode, Suki Doll, the only international queen left in the competition, and Arizona were both declared winners, each taking home a RuBadge.

Khianna and Viñas landed in the bottom, with Viñas winning the lip-sync and sending Khianna home.

Heading into the final stretch of the competition, the Top 4 queens are Viñas Deluxe, Brigiding, Arizona Brandy, and Suki Doll. Episode 9 will determine if they all advance to the finale as the Final 4 in Episode 10 or if another twist awaits.
