Michael Jackson biopic trailer introduces nephew Jaafar Jackson as the King of Pop

The official trailer for the Michael Jackson biopic is here!

In “Michael,” the music legend’s nephew Jaafar Jackson takes on the role of the King of Pop.

The trailer showed iconic moments in Michael’s life and career, such as winning at the Grammy Awards and filming the “Thriller” music video. Jaafar also pulled off Michael's iconic moonwalk.

"Michael" tells the story of Michael Jackson’s "life beyond the music." It traces his journey from the discovery of his extraordinary talent as the lead of the Jackson Five, to the visionary artist whose creative ambition fueled a relentless pursuit to become the biggest entertainer in the world.

The film will also highlight Michael’s life off-stage and feature some of his most iconic performances.

“Michael” is Jaafar’s feature film debut. He is the son of Jermaine Jackson and Alejandra Genevieve.

More cast members include Nia Long, Laura Harrier, Juliano Krue Valdi, Miles Teller, and Colman Domingo.
