Pixies are coming to Manila for the first time ever!
In an announcement from Karpos, the '80s alt-rock band is heading to the Filinvest Tent in Muntinlupa City on May 10, 2026 to celebrate 40 years as a band.
Pixes, best known for songs, “Where is My Mind?” and “Here Comes Your Man” will also be playing in London, Manchester Berlin, Frankfurt, and Milan to name a few key cities, to celebrate their landmark year.
Formed in Boston in 1986, Pixies is currently composed of Black Francis, Fil-Am Joey Santiago, David Lovering, and bassist Emma Richardson.
They are one of alternative music’s most pioneering bands, best known for the “loud-quiet-loud” sound.
According to their Spotify description, bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Strokes, and more cite them as influences.
Tickets for Pixies Live in Manila go on sale on November 13 at 10 a.m. via www.tickelo.com/pixies. They are priced at P4,450.
Other Pixies hits include “Hey” and “All I Think About is Now.”
