Marvel starts official countdown to 'Avengers: Doomsday'
Marvel has officially kicked off the countdown to “Avengers: Doomsday.”
On X (formerly Twitter), Marvel thanked fans for surpassing one billion views and ended the clip with a clear date: December 18, 2026, signaling the beginning of the final lead-up to the much-anticipated film.
“The countdown has begun. #AvengersDoomsday,” it wrote in the caption.
At the same time, Marvel also launched a livestream countdown on YouTube with the text: “Doomsday is coming.”
Robert Downey Jr. plays Doctor Doom in the star-studded “Avengers: Doomsday.”
Recent teasers confirm the return of Chris Evans' Captain America, Chris Hemsworth's Thor, and the original X-Men: Patrick Stewart's Professor X, Ian McKellen's Magneto, and James Marsden's Cyclops.
