'13 Going on 30' gets a reboot with Emily Bader and Logan Lerman as lead stars
Thirty, flirty, and thriving!
Netflix has announced that a “13 Going on 30” reboot is in the works, and it will be top-billed by Emily Bader and Logan Lerman.
Jennifer Garner, the original lead actress in the 2004 film, will serve as an executive producer, while Brett Haley, the creative behind “People We Meet on Vacation,” is set to direct.
Other details, including release date, cast members, and storyline, have not yet been revealed.
Emily starred in the Netflix hit “People We Meet on Vacation” opposite Tom Blyth, while Logan is best known for the film “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” and the “Percy Jackson” series.
"13 Going on 30" followed Jenna Rink, a 13-year-old who wakes up to be "30, flirty, and thriving." Judy played Lucy Wyman or TomTom, Jenna's best friend, who ends up betraying her.
The film also starred Mark Ruffalo and Christa Allen.
The cast members would often reunite or pay tribute to the film. On Halloween in 2024, Jennifer wore her iconic green dress from the movie's "Thriller" dance scene.
