Olivia Rodrigo makes music comeback with new song 'Drop Dead'

After a nearly three-year wait, Olivia Rodrigo is starting a new music era!

The Filipino-American pop star on Friday released "Drop Dead," the first single off of her upcoming third album, "You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So in Love."

In the music video, Olivia runs and prances around Versailles in Paris as she sings about falling in love.

On Instagram, Olivia said she "loves this song so much."

"It’s the first chapter in the story of ‘you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love’ and it makes me wanna skip around and roll the windows down and make out! I was lucky enough to film the music video at the palace of Versailles a few months ago with the wonderful @petrafcollins and I’m so stoked with how it turned out," she added.

"You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So in Love" is set to be released on June 12.

OIivia's last full-length release, "Guts," was released in 2023.

The singer is known for her hits "Driver's License," "Traitor," "Good 4 U," and "Vampire," among others.
