'House of the Dragon' Season 3 arrives on HBO Max on June 22
After a two-year wait, "House of the Dragon" is returning with new episodes!
HBO Max announced that Season 3 of the "Game of Thrones" spin-off series will land on its platform on June 22.
The eight-episode season will release episodes weekly, with the season finale set for August 10.
The newly released teaser trailer shows Daemon (Matt Smith) telling his wife, Rhaenyra (Emma D'Arcy), "You now have the power no man has ever wielded. You will have an empire unassailable, Rhaenyra. And our children will rule it forever and a day."
It also shows brutal scenes of the Battle of the Gullet.
Set 200 years before the events of "Game of Thrones," "House of the Dragon" is based on George R.R. Martin's "Fire & Blood," which follows the House Targaryen.
The Season 3 cast also includes Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans,Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, Matthew Needham, James Norton, Tom Bennett, Kieran Bew, Kurt Egyiawan, Freddie Fox, Clinton Liberty, Gayle Rankin, Abubakar Salim, Tom Cullen, Tommy Flanagan, Dan Fogler, Joplin Sibtain, and Barry Sloane. —JCB, GMA News
