Ariana Grande announces 'Petal' lead single 'Hate That I Made You Love Me'
Ariana Grande has revealed the lead single from her upcoming album, “Petal!”
On Instagram, the Grammy-winning pop star announced “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” which will arrive on May 29.
In her caption, Ariana said that it is “one of my favorite songs I'll ever write.”
“Produced by my favorite collaborators and dearest human beings in the world, the brilliant [Ilya Salmanzadeh], the one and only Max Martin (and me),” she said.
“I simply cannot wait for it to be yours.”
Ariana will release “Petal,” her eighth studio album, on July 31.
She released her latest album, “Eternal Sunshine,” in 2024, followed by its deluxe version in 2025. It includes hits such as “Yes, And?”, “We Can’t Be Friends,” and “The Boy Is Mine.”
She took a break from music to take on the role of Glinda in the musical films “Wicked” and “Wicked: For Good,” but she reassured fans that she was not abandoning music.
Ariana is also set to star in the film “Focker-in-Law,” slated for a November release.
