Chelsea Fernandez loses P100k in TNVS vehicle

Chelsea Fernandez revealed that she lost P100,000 after accidentally leaving the money inside a vehicle she booked through a Transport Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) app.

On Instagram on Wednesday, the beauty queen shared a video of herself on stage during the coronation night of The Miss Philippines 2026, with the text "she doesn't know it yet but after this event, she'll lose P100,000 after leaving it in the car she booked and no one will help and cooperate."

According to Chelsea, the incident happened shortly after attending the pageant event.

In the caption, Chelsea couldn't hide her devastation over the incident.

“I don’t know anymore. I feel devastated,” she said.

In the comments section, Chelsea said she had already reported the incident to the ride-hailing app and is hoping the matter will be resolved soon.

The beauty queen did not mention the TNVS, but Chelsea has been replying to fans who mentioned the e-hailing app InDrive Philippines in the comments section.

In a statement sent to GMA News Online, InDrive said it is aware of the incident involving Chelsea and the reported loss of her personal belongings during the said trip.

“We sincerely regret the distress this experience has caused her, and we understand how concerning incidents like this can be. The safety and security of our passengers remain our utmost priority, and we take reports like this very seriously,” the company said.

According to inDrive, its team immediately launched an internal review upon receiving the report and has already contacted both Chelsea and the driver involved to gather information and extend assistance. The company also said it is coordinating with authorities and is prepared to support the ongoing investigation.

“InDrive remains committed to fully cooperating with the proper authorities while continuously strengthening measures that help provide a safe and reliable experience for everyone on the platform,” the statement added.

Chelsea was named Miss Cosmo 2025 1st Runner-Up at the pageant held in Vietnam in December 2025. She also won Cosmo People’s Choice, garnering more than 28.3 million online votes during the pageant.

She was in the Miss Philippines 2026 coronation event to crown Bella Ysmael as her Miss Cosmo Philippines 2026 successor.
