'Scooby-Doo: Origins' shares first look at beloved 'goodest boy'
“Scooby-Dooby-Doo, where are you?” Well, he's here!
Netflix has officially unveiled the first look at the beloved canine detective in its upcoming live-action series, “Scooby-Doo: Origins.”
In a teaser clip that runs for less than 30 seconds, Scooby-Doo dashes around before spotting Shaggy Rogers (Tanner Hagen), who picks him up and showers him with affection.
“SCOOBY IS FINALLY REAL! Boop the goodest boy,” Netflix captioned.
In April, Netflix introduced the new Mystery Inc. lineup: Tanner as Shaggy, McKenna Grace as Daphne Blake, Abby Ryder Fortson as Velma Dinkley, and Maxwell Jenkins as Fred Jones.
Currently in production in Atlanta, “Scooby-Doo: Origins” is coming to Netflix in 2027.
Created in 1969, "Scooby-Doo" follows the adventures of teenagers Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy, and their Great Dane, Scooby-Doo. Together, they form the crime-solving gang, Mystery Inc.
