'Spider-Man: Brand New Day': Peter Parker reunites with MJ, Ned in new trailer

Peter Parker is back in the company of his ex-girlfriend, MJ, and his former best friend, Ned —even though they don't remember him.

In the newest trailer of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," Tom Holland's Spider-Man is shown losing control of himself and his powers as he struggles with what Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) describes as mutating DNA.

"What is happening to me? I'm losing my mind," Peter says. "I gotta fix whatever this is right now."

Meanwhile, MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon) have moved on to happily become MIT students. However, an unseen villain is threatening the world — and only Peter can sense him.

This puts Peter right back in MJ and Ned's orbit. Also shown in the trailer is Ned's investigation board about the mysterious Spider-Man, and Peter swinging MJ across the city.

"Spider-Man: Brand New Day" is set four years after the memory-wipe in "Spider-Man: Far From Home."

The highly anticipated film is set to hit local theaters on July 29. —JCB, GMA News
