Netflix is coming out with an interactive game called "Unhinged," and it's already making a buzz online.

Zoë Kravitz, Sadie Sink, and Troy Baker stars in the thriller-horror game, which traps players in their apartment building during a storm.

"With only your phone to guide you, this is a story of unpredictable turns," Netflix said on its blog, Tudum.

What do you need to play?

Not much — just your phone and your Netflix account.

The game allows smartphones to function as controllers. For further immersion, players' phones also rings and vibrates whenever the main character, Ava (Kravitz) gets a call or text from her best friend Claire (Sink).

Gameplay

Players can choose between playing in Story Mode or Standard Mode.

Story Mode allows for a pure narrative experience, removing the timer aspect, so players don't die.

In Standard Mode, the timer is active, giving players a set time to find the interactive object they need. If they fail, they die and must restart from their last checkpoint.

When and how to play

"Unhinged" drops on June 30 on Netflix. The streaming giant promises no ads of in-game purchases.

You can find the game on the Netflix Games tab, and then scan the QR code to link your phone as a controller. —JCB, GMA News
