Olivia Rodrigo joins Fortnite with 'Sour' and 'Lover Girl' skins

Olivia Rodrigo is bringing her pop star persona into the gaming world as she officially joins Fortnite as a playable character.

On Instagram, Fortnite announced the Grammy-winning pop star’s arrival, sharing an animated video of Olivia’s character in the game.

“I think we might go really nice together,” Fortnite wrote. “Olivia Rodrigo officially joins Fortnite tonight!”

The new Olivia Rodrigo bundle features two outfits inspired by different eras of her career: the Sour Outfit and the Lover Girl Outfit.

The Sour Outfit recreates Olivia’s iconic cheerleader look from the “good 4 u” music video, while the Lover Girl Outfit takes inspiration from the pink dress she wore on the cover of her latest album, “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.”

Aside from the character skins, the bundle also includes the “good 4 u” emote, the “Maggots for Brains” emote, Jam Tracks, and musical instruments that players can use in the game.

The Olivia Rodrigo bundle is now available in Fortnite.

Olivia released “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love” earlier this month. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

It also became Spotify's most-streamed album of 2026 in a single day by a female artist.

Earlier this week, Olivia launched Daisy Chain Fields, a new all-women music festival set for August 29 at the Great Park in Irvine, California.

She said that 100% of the net proceeds will go to charities "dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls."
