Alex Eala at Wimbledon: Watch parties in greater Manila for 4th round vs Jasmine Paolini
Alex Eala's Round of 16 match against Jasmine Paolini in Wimbledon is history in the making. It marks the first time a Filipino has advanced this far at one of tennis' most prestigious tournaments.
Fans in the Philippines can show their support for the Filipina tennis ace by joining watch parties across the Greater Manila Area on Monday at 8:30 p.m.
Here are the venues hosting live watch parties for Eala vs. Paolini:
1. PhilSports Arena
The PhilSports Arena in Pasig City will open its doors as early as 5:30 p.m. for a free public viewing of the match. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis, and organizers are encouraging spectators to arrive early to secure seats.
The viewing party is part of an initiative by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to rally nationwide support for Eala as she continues her Wimbledon campaign.
2. The Baseline Society
The Baseline Society is hosting a watch party from 6 p.m. onwards. Admission is free for members and P200 for non-members on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Baseline Society is located at De Leon Compound (Camachile Street), Taytay, Rizal.
3. Pink’s
Pink's is hosting a live watch party for Eala vs. Paolini, with an exclusive Grand Slam cocktail available in its BGC and Salcedo locations. Table reservation is required.
In BGC, Pink's is located at G/F Shangri-La at the Fort. For reservations, you may call 0917 162 2848. In Salcedo, Pink's is located at ACI Building, 147 H.V. Dela Costa, Makati City. For reservations, you may call 0917 103 6240.

3. Dave & Buster’s
Dave & Buster's in Quezon City is hosting a live watch party for Eala vs. Paolini on its big screens. A table reservation is required via OpenTable.

Perfect Pint is hosting a watch party for Eala vs. Paolini match across all of its three branches. A table reservation is required and you can book one on its website.
Whether Alex wins or loses, Perfect Pint is offering a 25% off on its craft beers from 11 p.m. onwards. And if Alex wins? It's free beer!

5. Monarch Manila
Hosting a live viewing party of Eala vs. Paolini's Wimbledon match, the sports bar Monarch Manila encourages guests to "bring your flag, bring your energy, and let's cheer for our girl together!"
