Justin Bieber to join BTS, Madonna, Shakira as headliners for FIFA World Cup halftime show

Justin Bieber is stepping onto the stage for the first-ever FIFA World Cup halftime show.

On Instagram, FIFA president Gianni Infantino announced that the Canadian pop superstar is the latest addition to the star-studded headliner lineup, which includes Madonna, Shakira, and BTS.

“We are proud to have Justin Bieber joining Madonna, Shakira and BTS to co-headline the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show in support of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund and our mission to expand access to quality education and football opportunities for children around the world,” Infantino wrote.

“As the world unites for the most significant football match in history on Sunday, 19 July 2026 at the New York New Jersey Stadium, this groundbreaking spectacle, curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay, will celebrate football, music and our shared values, ensuring a legacy that transcends the final whistle,” he added.

The FIFA World Cup Final halftime show is produced by Global Citizen. It will raise funds for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which improves access to quality education and football for children around the world.

In April, Justin headlined Coachella, where he performed his old songs karaoke-style and brought out Billie Eilish as his "One Less Lonely Girl."

BTS is currently on their "Arirang" World Tour, which kicked off in South Korea in April. It is in support of their comeback album, "Arirang," their first since 2022.

The Philippine stop is happening in 2027.

Meanwhile, Madonna released her new album “Confessions II” earlier in July.

Finally, the iconic Shakira returns for this year's World Cup song, "Dai Dai."
