BTS gathers around urinals in 'Normal' music video teaser
BTS' unusual promotions for "Normal" continues, and fans are eating it up.
In the official music video teaser posted on the HYBE Labels channel, the members of BTS can be seen taking care of business in the men's restroom.
RM then walks in, hesitates, and then finds a spot between Jungkook and Jin.
The lyric, "We call this thing normal," sung by Jungkook is played.
The MV teaser comes after BTS shared newspaper clippings of them at the urinals on X.
The full video is set to premiere on Spotify on July 17, and then on YouTube on July 19.
"Normal" is the ninth track off BTS' comeback album "Arirang." In the song, BTS talks about what the band now considers normal in their life of superstardom, including the struggles once they get off the stage.
It is being promoted as the second single off the album after "Swim," which is currently facing a copyright infringement lawsuit in the United States.
Independent songwriters Steve Cooper, Jon Sandler, and Greylyn Johnson filed a lawsuit against HYBE, along with its subsidiaries HYBE America and BTS' agency, Big Hit, alleging that "Swim" was plagiarized from their unreleased demo.
BigHit Music has denied the allegations and maintained that “Swim” is an independent creation.
BTS is currently on a world tour, with a three-night Philippine stop happening in March 2027. —JCB, GMA News
