BTS is living in messy luxury in 'Normal' MV
After a series of unusual promotions, BTS has finally released the music video for "Normal," and it's a masterpiece.
The MV sets the story in a mansion, showing BTS in various states of disarray. Jungkook is showering with his clothes on, Jimin is lying with his shirt open on satin sheets, Jin is having tea in a garden, and V is beat up and bruised on the couch.
Amid flashes of BTS partying presumably the night before, J-Hope is shown walking by a fountain, while Suga climbs the massive iron gates, and RM lounges on the hood of a car.
The seven members are also shown having a pictorial with dogs, before taking a family portrait.
In "Normal," the second single off BTS' comeback album "Arirang," the pop kings sing about what's become normal to them in their life of superstardom.
"Kerosine, dopamine, chemical induced, fantasy and fame, yeah, the things we choose," they sing. "Show me hate, show me love, make me bulletproof, yeah, we call this sh-t normal."
"Arirang" was released in March, marking BTS' return to the music industry after a four-year hiatus, during which they enlisted in the South Korean military and pursued solo careers.
In April, they kicked off their biggest world tour yet.
They are set to visit Manila for three shows in March 2027. —JCB, GMA News
